My apologies, I have only just read the replies to my post. If anyone wants to email me for information, I would be happy to oblige. My email address is current (as @ 16/3/0Cool. I can't add much to the family tree, after reading Ray stagles book 'The Blaskets' It's got most of my family history, (except me and my daughter Elizabeth).

Regards,

Eileen

I am a Great great grand daugter of Tomas O'Crohan and I would not be surprised if the McCrohans were related, since Dunquin is a very small place. I am a direct descendant of his daughter. Good luck with the research!

This will teach me to post late at night! Rolling Eyes

I am a great grand-daughter of Tomas O'Crohan. Too many greats listed above!

Cait O'Crohan was Tomas' daughter, she married Thomas Malone and had Sean (John Malone) who had me (Eileen de Lapp). I had Elizabeth de Lapp

Thomas Malone was married to Cait Criomhthain. She died shortly after the birth of one of her children. Thomas re-married a Bridgie McCarthy from Moanaree, near Dingle and who related to my Grandmother Siobhan McCarthy. Siobhan was married to Patrick (called Bobby) O'Brien. And lived in Ferriter's Quarter in Dunquin. They had 15 in family, 8 of whom emigrated to Springfield and Boston, USA. My Dad Liam was the youngest in the family. Siobhan and Bobby were moved from Dunquin and re housed in Minard, east of Dinge under the Wyndham Act. Thomas Malone had three sons Paddy, Bob and Anton - all deceased. This should be of assistance to Eileen.
