Hi Richard, and thanks for the update. I was very keen to find out how this was developing and mailed your Dad and Bill for an update. It's brilliant news.

As I said to Bill in an email this morning:

When I created McCrohan.net, I had the idea of recreating an International family of McCrohans - reuniting a clan which had lived so closely together for hundreds of years in a particular part of Ireland, only to be scattered to the winds in the last two centuries.

I never dreamt that we would be able to help people find their own immediate & extended family as has happened with you, and all I can say is that I'm very happy for you and glad that I could play a part.

Perhaps one day, when the dust has settled down, and you've understood more about your family and Patrick McCrohan aswell, you could send me a family tree I could include in the McCrohan family tree project? The more information we have, the more we can help others find their place in the larger family.

All the best,

Jerry McCrohan

Hi everyone, to update this even more I will tell you we have discovered that this branch of the family it really large. I have tracked the family back to John and Dora O'Connell McCrohan fleeing to Spain and then Eugene and his sister comming to the US. I lost Joanna when Eugene left New Orleans for Ill. As soon as I can fill in the blanks for the first 3 generations I'll submit it for the family tree. Thanks Kathy {Lecil's wife} PS I'd still like to hear from Patrick,I think you can help me with what I need.
